Abstract:AlSi-Polyester (AlSi-PHB) coating was prepared by plasma spray. The effect of spraying current on the
structure and deposition of the coating has been investigated. The results showed that power of the plasma spray
increases with the increase of the spray current. The plasma energy transmits heat and kinetic of the particles. The
temperature and the velocity of the particles increase. With the ablation of the polyester and the splashing of the
AlSi droplets, the deposition efficiency of the AlSi-polyester coating decreases.
