Abstract:Based on the demand of domestic automobile factories for cylinder bore coating of mass production
engine, the industrial mass production process of cylinder bore coating deposited by atmospheric plasma spray
(APS) was developed. The working mechanism, pretreatment, post-treatment and other processing procedures and
quality detection methods of inner wall of cylinder bore of atmospheric thermal spraying were introduced, which
provided theoretical support and application analysis for the industrial mass production process development of
APS cylinder bore coating.
