Abstract:Laser cladding experiments of high boron stainless steel alloy were carried out at high speed and
conventional cladding rate respectively. The result showed that the cladding rate has a great influence on the
microstructure under the same laser power. The faster the cladding rate, the smaller the dendrite size. The content
of austenite in the cladding layer prepared by high-speed laser cladding was higher than conventional laser
cladding, so the wear resistance of the cladding layer decreased
