Abstract:The NiCrFeMo coatings were prepared by plasma spraying, high velocity oxygen fuel spraying and
cold spraying respectively. The metallographic properties of the coating, the bond strength properties of the
coating under different substrate materials and the wear resistance of the coating under different temperatures were
tested. The experimental results showed that the coating prepared by cold spraying process exhibited the lowest
porosity and the highest bonding strength. However, the bond strength of the coatings prepared by cold spraying
process was sensitive to the base material, while the HVOF and plasma sprayed coatings were not affected by the
base material. At room temperature, the cold spray coating showed better wear resistance, and at high temperature,
the HVOF coating showed better wear resistance.
