The graphite surface was modified by heat treatment process and surfactant, and nickel-coated graphitepowder was prepared by hydrogen reduction coating process. The effects of different graphite heat treatmentprocesses and surfactant addition on the surface morphology and physical properties of nickel-coated graphitepowder were compared. The results showed that when the graphite was treated with alcohol-based surfactants atthe heat treatment temperature of 500℃ , the nickel-coated graphite powder prepared by the process of pressurizedhydrogen reduction exhibited good surface coating integrity and excellent powder packing density and fluidity.
